The Starlink Intrusion Communicator will soon be available to thousands of alarm dealers and integrators in Canada, thus expanding the geographic reach for NAPCO. The communicator replaces the need for traditional phone lines in order to get an alarm signal from a residence or small business to the central monitoring station. Starlink has been a great success in the US during the last few years and NAPCO expects the launch in the Canadian market to be met with much excitement.
According to the Canadian census data there are approximately 15 million homes in the country, thus there is a very large potential market opportunity. The number of citizens with telephone landlines continues to decrease every yeari, similar to what is happening in the US, hence the need for NAPCO's innovative communication products. Expanding the geographic reach to new markets will help further the growth of these product sales and their recurring revenue streams to NAPCO.
